A graduate from the Institute of International Studies of the University of Geneva, Pedro holds an MA in European Political and Administrative Studies from the Institute of Postgraduate European Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
He has worked as Director for Latin America at the World Economic Forum (1995-2001) and Dialogues Coordinator at the Universal Forum of Cultures Barcelona 2004.
Since 2005, he counsels companies and organizations on institutional relations and international affairs, sponsorship and corporate responsibility, networking and conceptualization of top-level economic meetings and events.

PEDRO RALDA, Executive Director, SinergiQ
Pedro Ralda is an expert on international relations with broad experience in top international organizations and institutions.
He holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from the Graduate Institute for International Studies, University of Geneva, Switzerland and an MA (Hons) in European Political and Administrative Studies from the Institute of Postgraduate European Studies, College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium.
From 1992 to 1995 Pedro took part in different projects led by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF International); and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
As Director for Latin America at the World Economic Forum in Geneva from 1995 to 2001, he was responsible for promoting the presence of Latin American political, business and social leaders at the Annual Meeting in Davos. He was also in charge of organizing economic conferences in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico, in which the key players of the region took part.
In 2001, Pedro joined the Universal Forum of Cultures Barcelona 2004 as Dialogues’ Coordinator. In this position, he was in charge of designing the program for more than 50 congresses, conferences and debates on issues such as sustainability, cultural diversity and peace conditions which took part in Barcelona in 2004.
In 2005, Pedro started working as an independent consultant on international affairs, institutional relations and sponsorship management and founded SinergiQ in 2007.Since then he has successfully developed projects for top-class clients such as La Caixa, Círculo de Economía, Casa Asia, Metropolis, La Red Innova, Fundación Logistica Justa and the International Expo Zaragoza 2008.
He has also been part of the management team of top-international sports events, such as the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, where he was Deputy Director of Protocol at the Madrid Venue, and the 2013 FINA World Swimming Championship in Barcelona, acting as Head of Protocol of the Water Polo World Championship.
Since 2007, Pedro is Secretary of the Spanish most renowned Awards on Corporate Social Responsibility and Patronage (the Carlos Güell Awards), under the direction of the Círculo de Economía Foundation.
Together with his brother Alfredo, in 2013 he launched the “Ralda+Friends” initiative, a digital social entrepreneurship project for the sponsoring of olive trees from the South of Catalonia including and olive oil e-commerce platform.
As of 2013, SinergiQ is the exclusive representing agency for Spain of LeWeb, the leading European event on entrepreneurship and innovation, yearly held in Paris.
Trilingual in French, Spanish and Catalan, Pedro is also fluent in English and other languages such as Italian, German and Portuguese.
